1. PURPOSE:

Mission Possible is a service learning/community organization.

It shall be the goal of this club to help students learn:

 

To be responsible for they’re own actions

To make a positive contribution to our school and/or community.


MEMBERSHIP:

 

Mission Possible welcomes all interested students in grades 9-12.

Students are expected to behave in a mature and appropriate manor and

abide by school rules during all club meetings and activities. Any

member who chooses to act in a disrespectful or otherwise negative

behavior will be asked to leave the group upon review with the advisor.

Students are encouraged to be active participants in all meetings and activities.

 

FINANCES:

Profits made from sales-related fundraisers will be deposited into a general club account. Any unused funds will be carried to the next year.

VOTING:

The group will vote on all activities or projects as well as any expenditure of monies. Majority votes, either for or against, will rule.

 

OFFICERS:

Officers will be selected in the spring for the following school year. Any student wishing to be considered for an officer position will complete an application. The applications will not have the student’s name on it, but rather a number that will be selected by the student. The student’s number will be kept in a sealed envelope until all applications have been reviewed by the advisor of the club and one or two other faculty members. Officers will be chosen based upon the content of the application. Officers will include president, Vice-President and secretary/treasurer. Officers are expected to attend the majority of meetings and activities and exhibit positive leadership roles for the group. Officers must be accountable and reliable. Any officer not fulfilling these obligations can be asked to relinquish that office and a replacement will be assigned.

 

DUTIES OF OFFICERS:

President and Vice-President: Duties will include helping to bring new ideas for projects, organizing activities and following through with completion of projects. These officers must have strong leadership qualities and organizational skills.

 

Secretary/ Treasurer: Duties will include taking notes and recording minutes of every meeting. Minutes must be typed and turned in to the advisor within 5 days after each meeting. This officer is also required to keep records of all financial accounts including bills and purchase orders.

 

The constitution of this club will be reviewed annually and revised as needed.
