Junior girls: consider attending Keystone Girls State to receive valuable government instruction & leadership training. Strattanville & Clarion American Legion Auxiliaries want to sponsor students to attend the program in June at Shippensburg University. Stop at the Guidance Office for more information. –T. Beers 4. Attention students interested in art! Green Imprints will be hosting an Earth Art Show as part of the Sustainable Futures Fair in April. If you are interested in creating art that makes a statement about being eco-friendly, stopping pollution, the beauty of nature, or caring for the earth, then let your creativity speak for the environment. Artists can use sculpture, painting, wood or metals, collage, print, photography or other mixed media. Interested students should see Mrs. Zerbe or Julie Graf for details. –J. Graf 5. Any junior or senior interested in a day out of school and a chance to win money for college see the Save Driving Competition sheet in the office. –T. McCullough 6. There are two new scholarships now available. The Brookville Hospital Foundation Scholarship is for seniors pursuing an education in the healthcare field. The PA Association of Medical Suppliers Scholarship is for seniors overcoming physical challenges with the help of home medical equipment and services. Teachers: senior project folders for all seniors who have finished their presentations must be turned in to the office ASAP. Please arrange the folder in the following order: 1. Gray checklist; 2. Parent Awareness; 3. ASVAB; 4. Revised cover letter; 5. Revised Resume; 6. yellow grad. Project interview/eval.; 7. Sr. Project essay; 8. Green Prelim. speech form; 9. gold Sr. project presentation eval.; 10. pink survey; 11. white survey. We do not want any other papers, etc. in the folder. –office 4. Becky Whitling, 1st grade teacher at the elementary, is looking for hand held GPS Units for a project with her students.
